FAQ

Q: What is We Sing Encore?
A: It is the sequel to the original We Sing. We have added in some new exciting features, including 40 brand new songs to sing to, introduced singing lessons, an award system and some fun multiplayer modes.

Q: 40 new songs? What are they?
A: The first 30 have been announced with the launch of this website. Look at the front page, it’s all there. The remaining 10 will be announced soon. But we plan to tease you with the other songs because we are evil like that.

Q: I don’t need singing lessons, what are they there for?
A: Simon Cowell may disagree with you there. The singing lessons are just that, lessons on how to improve your singing so you can go for the high scores and impress that special someone in your life.

Q: An award system? What’s that? Does it get the Wii to print money?
A: We wish. A Wii printing money for free would be on our Christmas list. Anyway, the award system lets you keep track of your achievements in We Sing. Everything from singing your first song, to reaching the lofty heights of a high score on the hard setting will get you an award. Compare awards with friends and family and rub it in their face when they don’t have one you do.

Q: What is the replay function at the end of a song?
A: This allows you to replay your performance of the last song sung. So now everyone can mock you a second time for your singing.

Q: When will We Sing Encore be released?
A: Summer 2010. Perfect for fun with the barbeque.

Q: What’s with the yellow?
A: We Sing was blue, We Sing Encore is yellow. We like yellow. You got a problem with yellow?

Q: I heard about We Sing Vol. 2 in German, are you keeping something from us?
A: We Sing Vol. 2 is We Sing Encore, with a slightly different name.

Q: I bought We Sing with two microphones before; can I buy We Sing Encore without microphones?
A: You sure can. Just check your local retailer for information on purchasing the game on its own. You can buy the bundle though and have the complete four microphone set. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Q: Does the game still support four players at the same time?
A: You bet your ass it does.

Q: The Wii only has two USB ports, but I want to play with four people at the same time. What’s up with that?
A: You can use any USB hub to connect your four microphones to the Wii. Ask your Dad, he may have one.

Q: Do I need four Wii Remotes to play with four microphones?
A: Nope. Just use the Wii Remote in the box and you will be fine. No, seriously!

Q: How do I connect my USB microphones to the Wii?
A: Look at the back of the Wii where all the cables go in. See the square holes near the top? Bullseye!

Q: I got a little excited and unplugged the microphone from the Wii, will the game still play?
A: RUN FOR THE HILLS! IT’S GOING TO BLOW... We are kidding. Nothing bad will happen. Should the microphone become unplugged, the game will pause until the microphone is plugged back into the Wii and you can carry on playing.

Q: I have microphones from other singing games on the Wii, will these work on We Sing Encore?
A: For the most part yes. Logitech microphones from other Wii singing games should work with We Sing Encore. As long as they are official Logitech microphones and plug into the USB port of the Wii, they should work.

Q: I want to talk about We Sing Encore with other people who also love this awesome game. Where can we hook up?
A: The forum might be a good place to start.

Q: I’ve taken a video of myself being awesome at playing We Sing Encore. How can I show it to everyone?
A: YouTube is a good start. WeSingGame.com will also be launching an exciting competition for just that reason soon. Might be time to dust off that Stormtrooper outfit.

Q: Will We Sing Encore be coming to anything other than Wii?
A: Currently there are no plans to release the game on other formats. Plus we like the Wii.

Q: My favourite song is not in the game, you guys suck.
A: Not a question, but there you go. We are sorry if your favourite song is not in We Sing Encore, if you have a song you want in the next We Sing, suggest it in our Request Chart and we’ll see what we can do.

Q: What do you think is better? We Sing Encore or [insert game]?
A: We Sing Encore. Duh!

Q: Is WeSingGame.com on all those fancy social networking sites?
A: Yes we are. We are on Facebook and Twitter. Become a fan on Facebook and sign up to our Twitter. You’ll get all the latest news straight away and you can tell all your friends about how awesome We Sing Encore is.

Q: Can I make a We Sing fan site?
A: Go for it. We are all about the supporting the fans, so if you want to show your love for We Sing Encore beam out into the heavens and rain happiness on the world. Then tell us. We love to hear from the fans. Plus we will be sure to bring our sunglasses.

Q: Can I download new tracks to my Wii for We Sing Encore?
A: We Sing Encore does not have the function to download new tracks. We are looking into this and working on a solution to get you to download that song you know you shouldn’t be listening to. You know which one we mean.

Q: My super awesome giant HDTV is experiencing audio lag when playing We Sing Encore?
A: Unfortunately, as is the case with most singing games on every format, some lag may occur when playing on a HDTV. If you head to the options screen in the game, you can use the HDTV tool to sync up the game better. Also we are coming to your pad to watch films next time.

Are the songs radio edits or is bad language left in?
All songs are original radio edits. They are the same songs you would hear on any radio station or music channel.
